If you are between 18 and 29, and aspire to gourmet fare accompanied by stellar wine, breathtaking views, and warm Winelands hospitality, this one’s for you. Les Jeunes á Table (directly translating to “the youth at table”) has arrived in Stellenbosch!
The concept, French in origin, was launched as a way of generating a passion for quality food and wine among the younger generation (by making it more affordable, accessible and fun). Under-30s are treated to three delectable courses served with tasting portions of wine, including water and coffee, for R345 per person. Waiters explain the dishes in detail and hopefully spark a lifelong passion.
